Terms of use
Updated October 21, 2026
Acceptance
By using DosePlan (doseplan.app) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What DosePlan does
DosePlan is a free calculator that converts a dose in milligrams (mg) into a volume in milliliters (mL) and into the units of a U-100 insulin syringe, based on the information you enter. The site also lets you build a summary, print it and share it via a link.
Not medical advice
DosePlan does not prescribe, recommend or validate doses. Results depend entirely on the data you enter. Before taking any medication, confirm the dose, preparation and technique with a doctor or pharmacist. See also the Medical disclaimer.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking the values you enter (mg in the vial, mL of diluent, label concentration, syringe and dose) and for using the result carefully. Do not use the site in emergencies.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, including typing errors, misreading of results or the use of syringes other than U-100.
Shared links
The share link carries the summary data inside the address itself. Anyone with the link can see that data. Only share it with people you trust.
Ads and third-party links
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense and may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control or endorse that content.
Intellectual property
The DosePlan brand, design and code belong to its creators. You may use the site for personal and professional purposes, but you may not copy or resell it.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
